Open Question: How to crack my voicemail?!?
I posted this once, but i need help again! I wanted to protect my phone, 'cause my family is always looking through it. I made it to where i have to have a password to receive in. Well, it didnt even give me a password. It wont let me in, i googled the answer. I went to the website, and asked it. i look at FAQ. Its not help. It just says call customer service. Is there anyway i can crack the password with out calling customer service? I have cricket, lawl. :3 Blackberry. I tried 9999. The first three digits of my number. The last four digits of my phone number. I tried 1234, i tried basically everything. Help? )): LMAO. No i'm not. It didnt give me a code. Im not that pathetic to hack in someones voice mail. O_o thanks though.

Resolved Question: What does the "cancel date" on an AT&T Pay-as-you-go GoPhone exactly means?
I have a pay-as-you-go AT&T GoPhone (LG Prime) which I plan to use it as a secondary phone. This is a pay-as-you-go phone which I just add airtime to it when it needs it. My question is, what exactly does the "cancel date" below this plan means? below a normal 2-yr contract a cancellation date I know exactly what it means, it means you can either upgrade to another phone or cancel your plan every together but, why would a pay-as-you-go plan have a cancel date? There's no contract with this....what does this date mean for a GoPhone? I didn't find any answers to this below "FAQ" at the AT&T GoPhone website and for some reason I think I can receive a quicker answer here than trying to reach AT&T customer service. If you know why these AT&T Pay-as-you-go GoPhones have a cancellation date let me know. Thank you! I'm not talking about airtime expiration. every GoPhone airtime cards have an expiration date...that I know. I'm talking about the "cancel date" for these phones...Why does it have a "cancel date" when these are non-contract, pay-as-you-go phones?

Darwin's evolution of species was completed 1859 giving sufficient time to reach india through colonial trade etc. The editor probably would have known about the latest craze of evolution. What PISSES ME OFF IS THIS WHITE GUY WHO RUNS THE SITE Joseph Peterson FOOLISHLY JUST PUTS THE EVOLUTION THING IN THE FAQ. as far as i know every the other sites are run by proper zoroastrians(iranians/indians) and this guy blatantly just puts it up there without a care in the world. Is it possible that the Zoroastrian God gave them knowledge about evolution in the 10th century or do you think its coincidence/mistranslation/doesnt mean evolution. They have a whole book which is about Zoroastrian cosmology called the bundahisn but that could be written by God's adversary. You look, in this religion they solved the problem of bad by stating in their scriptures that god is not omnipotent but omniscient. How do i think critically and forget about it? Open Question: Does Prize Rebel let you do Site To Store when ordering from Wal-Mart.com?
I just read on their FAQ Page about custom orders that they will send you a custom prize from sites other than Amazon and Ebay. I want to know if anything has ordered anything from walmart.com and if they know if Prize Rebel will let you select the Site-to-Store shipping option instead of shipping it to your home. Anyone know? Site to store is free shipping and it would keep me some points. Thanks! Resolved Question: I am receiving SPAM e-mail to myself from my own Yahoo account. It goes into my SPAM folder.?
I had seen the following response to a similar question and had a "follow up" question for the person that responded if that is okay - thanks! You Stated The Following In Your Response: It is possible that the spam was sent from a different account with a program that forges the recipient's address as the sender for each spam. That makes the spam harder to filter. My Followup Question: Changing my "password" did not resolve this issue, but it did when I had one incident of someone hacking into my Yahoo account and sending my contact an email from me. *So what do I do for the SPAM that is arriving in my SPAM Yahoo folder with only my email address (thank goodness not my name)? I have had 3 episodes of this happening and have changed my password. And I have had no luck in contacting Yahoo Security. Anyone know how to fix this problem or how to contact Yahoo Security? I am so over the famous"FAQ" or whatever they call it = no personal service (lol). Thanks again.

Open Question: Candle Tunneling?? PLEASE ANSWER?
I have a 4 oz Bath and Body Works scented candle and the first time i lit it, i blew it out after 45 minutes, which was a mistake. After a few hours, I lit the candle again hoping it would "fix" the tunneling by letting it lit for a longer period of time. But now, the flame is really low, and the pool of melted wax isn't spreading to the sides, which is tunneling. Any way I could fix it? Voting Question: How much do Scottevest charge to ship to the UK?
I am looking at buying a hoodie from Scottevest, but I'm not sure how much they charge to boat to the UK. I have checked the FAQ, but it isn't clear as to the charge. Resolved Question: Job seekers and Bank holiday mondays?
I'm due to sign on tomorrow, but as it's Bank Holiday Monday the job centre wont be open. Now, I haven't had any letter or phone call advising me or telling me what will happen and there seem to be no FAQ's online about the subject. Will I still have my money paid in on Thursday or will I have to sign on next Monday or even the Monday after that? Voting Question: Confused about NYU application process?
Im planning on applying to NYU to be a freshman next year. I am just confused about many things such as: 1. I saw in the FAQ section, you can't apply to other colleges if youre applying for early admission at NYU, well what is the other option? I'm planning on applying to about 3 others 2. I know the common app has to be submitted that's easy, but if someone can provide maybe a whole list of what is required that would be great (I know about SAT scores and transcripts) 3. Is there an essay requirement? I've looked every over the website and I can't find out if you have to or not and if so, where/what is the topic? 4. This isnt about the application process, but overall if you have or currently attend NYU, how do you like it? Is it worth it? Voting Question: Questions DeSmuME Save States?
I recently got the DeSmuME emulator and I have a few questions about the keep states. I tried playing Harvest Moon DS Cute earlier and every few minutes the "notice" that tells you it saved to slot 0 would arrive up. It began to receive ridiculous to the point that I couldn't have my character take a few steps without it doing that keep state thing. (I am not directing it to do this; it is doing this automatically.) I read the FAQ, but I found nothing that pertained to my ordeal. I even searched the forums on the site, but alas! Nothing there either. Pardon the stupid questions, but... is it really supposed to do this? Is there any way to fix this, if it is a problem, or am I to just sit it out/find a new emulator? (I already have no$gba but I wanted to try an emulator with a GBA slot.)

Can somebody tell me where I'm making errors in calculating how SmartyPig calculates their interest? Say I deposit $25 (the minimum) into my account, and keep up my minimum contribution of $10/month. Right now, their APY is 2.15%, and "interest is configured using a daily accrual method with quarterly postings to a customer’s account." (from their FAQ). From Wikipedia: "the daily accrual method is commonly used in the UK. The annual rate is divided by 365 to give a daily rate. Each day, the balance of the account is multiplied by this rate, and at the end of the cycle the total interest is billed to the account." Since a fiscal quarter is 3 months (~90 days): 2.15% / 365 = 0.00589041096% (the daily rate) 0.00589041096 * $25 = $0.147260274 (the amount I receive in interest each day for the 1st month) $0.147260274 * 30 = $4.41780822 (the amount I receive at the end of the 1st month) 0.00589041096 * $35 = $0.206164384 (the amount I receive in interest each day for the 2nd month) $0.206164384 * 30 = $6.18493152 (the amount I receive at the end of the 2nd month) 0.00589041096 * $45 = $0.265068493 (the amount I receive in interest each day for the 3rd month) $0.265068493 * 30 = $7.95205479 (the amount I receive at the end of the 3rd month) Total interest over 3 months (I put down 25+30=$55) = ~$18 This is realistically impossible, yet that's what my understanding is pointing to. Can somebody tell me where my errors are/how they actually calculate it? I think that the mistake lies in the difference between APR and APY, as I think the Wikipedia article may be talking about dividing by APR to receive the daily rate (instead of APY). Can anybody expand on this, as well?

Resolved Question: How would you improve this explanation of the quantization of anthropogenic global warming attribution?
I'm thinking about putting together a new wiki to counter the AGW denialist argument that the anthropogenic contribution to global warming is minimal. As we every know, this argument is based on a combination of irrelevant information (i.e. CO2 is 'only' 0.039% of the atmosphere), 'gut feeling' (i.e. humans are too insignificant to impact the climate), and ignorance as to how the human contribution is quantified. Here's how I look the argument going: 1) Humans have increased the amount of atmospheric CO2 by 40% over the past 150 years (as well as other greenhouse gases). This is indisputable - provide a few supporting links. 2) This increase in GHGs has increased the amount of downward longwave radiation at the Earth's surface, as observed through spectroscopy. 3) The increased energy reaching the Earth's surface from this longwave radiation is calculated using radiative transfer models, which are based on fundamental physical equations and observations. Perhaps reference this paper: http://www.knmi.nl/faq_klimaat/images/Thesis_Chapter3_RobvanDorland.pdf And then reference Myhre et al. (1998) for the radiative forcing formulae. http://folk.uio.no/gunnarmy/paper/myhre_grl98.pdf 4) The change in temperature is then simply the radiative forcing multiplied by the climate sensitivity. That's where it gets a little tricky, but fortunately I have a climate sensitivity wiki that I can cross-reference. Based on the possible range of sensitivities (2–4.5°C for doubling of CO2 = 0.54–1.2 K/Wm-2), we can calculate that the increase in CO2 to 392 ppm alone should have caused 0.97–2.2°C of global warming, with a most likely value of about 1.4°C warming. But we've only seen about 0.8°C because of the thermal inertia of the oceans, and the other ~0.6°C is 'in the pipeline'. Fortunately the anthropogenic cooling effects roughly offset the other anthropogenic warming effects, and the natural effects have been close to zero, so I'll probably mention that, link to the IPCC radiative forcing chart, and leave it at that. Is this an accurate explanation of the quantization of AGW, is there anything else I should add, and do you know of any better references I could use? I'll probably provide a link or two to substantiate argument #2. I know skeptical science has provided some useful studies on the subject. If you know of any, please provide them. Please if you're not going to add anything constructive, don't bother to 'answer' the question. valid points pegminer - it's obvious that no argument will convince deniers that they're wrong, especially the ignorant ones who claim the CO2 increase isn't anthropogenic and as you note, really should know better. But the purpose of the wiki is to rebut the argument for those who are genuinely open-minded and skeptical, not for the benefit of deniers. If you don't know any better, the denialist argument that we can't quantify AGW or that it's minimal might sound convincing. The purpose of the wiki is to show those people who might be convinced that the claim is demonstrably wrong. Plus half the reason I did this was to check the physics and numbers and understand the calculation myself. Now that I have a decent understading, I might as well write a wiki for anyone else who might be interested. Which is why I want to make sure I got it right.

I got a problem here,the stupid SDK hammer editor,gives me only 1 window to work in (when i press NEW). ok,so i go to add a new window, i add 3 more,and they are every Top (or any other camera *default) ,so i want the window in my upper right to be left view point (*doesn't have to be),and he does change it,BUT he changes every the other view points to the same,and when i mouse over any of them,they change, top,left .....but they every change together,there is nothing on the FAQ ,i`v spent hours looking for an answer,if any 1 knows,pls tell me how to fix this. ty

Resolved Question: Biking in San Diego, more specific, Rancho Penasquitos?
from what ive read and from experience, biking on sidewalks is either legal unless otherwise stated (signs and stuff like that) or legal unless in the business district. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/hdbk/shr_slow_veh.htm#bike every the dmv says is that cyclists have the same rights as motorists if theyre on -public streets- http://www.sdcbc.org/faq.htm that site says that it is legal anywhere but the business districts. so what is it? and from what i looked at based on maps, rancho penasquitos is in san diego city limits ok which comes first, a bike or the car? and also i want laws or something specific unless we dont have a specific law (according to some sites each city has their possess cycling law) xD and also i have been riding san diego for a while too, in front of many cops in plain view and none have pulled me over telling me i was doing something wrong

Resolved Question: Can I still receive unemployment benefits?
I live in FL. Don't know if states are different with this or not... but here goes. I have been on unemployment receiving checks since Jan 2010. I recently found a job which I adore very much. Been there 2 weeks today. The mgr took me into the office and said "We decided to let you go and go with another candidate who has more experience." Now, my unemployment from previous employer was appreoved and extended until Jan 2011. But what Im wondering is, can I still receive my benefits since I was only at this recent job for 2weeks? I believe I should but Im not sure. My g/f & I just found out were pregnant this past weekend after a previous m/c in Dec. 2009. Please help & answer only if you know the answer. I'll be calling tomorrow. Office is closed now & the UBC website FAQ doesnt say anything on this type of situation. Thank you.

Voting Question: Why does YouTube not reply to user feedback?
Since the universally panned Channel 2.0, YouTube has been rolling out inferior designs to its features. Most of which perform worse, are just poorly designed, etc. Particularly the new video page that had first been used around April Fool's Day this year. In response, there have literally been thousands of comments from users disliking the new features strongly. They are mostly right. The designs are worse but some take it to seriously by demanding the old and better design back. Yes, I want doesn't receive and returning back to the old design is something like taking a step backwards (without terms of quality) but this can be done. The worse thing is not the redesign but the fact that YouTube NEVER responds to the feedback. I noticed a few responses from a member of staff but nothing about the user's feedback. I noted one video that has a FAQ of a user disliking the redesign but the answer unfortunately has the user having to look it as an improvement whereas it is not. This is nothing to do with getting used to change. No. Citroen's new logo is change. Google's redesigned search engine is change. BBC.com was change. Even YouTube when it went widescreen in 2008 and the new player after the rubbish new video page of March/April 2010 that is lighter and whiter had the timeline on top and folds back down when not used. And why were these changes whereas most of these I didn't like at first? Because these were better designs that were too new and you could grow on them. But the new BBC News page is NOT change. Google Images rebrand is NOT change. Nickelodeon new logo is NOT change.YouTube's Channel 2.0 and new video page is NOT change. And why? Because these are just bad logos. YouTube's design kept on improving. It looked crude in its earlier years but was getting neater and neater until the quality of the design of most of its features one at a time took a major decline at recent years gradually. But the least they could do is respond for Pete's sakes to user feedback. Why don't they? Are they too busy or what? YouTube needs to respond. The site is now very likely to have its reputation slip as it could be alienating viewers from not listening to them. I even seen some threatening to leave and they probably have. I know that it is a video sharing site and most people would go on it to watch videos but the design is important because that is interaction of the site. Without that, videos would be cluttered every over the place with possibly no control on them. If YouTube were not the most popular video sharing site online as it is, it would have suffered greatly. Voting Question: Unemployment, hired, then fired... still get unemployment?
I live in FL. Don't know if states are different with this or not... but here goes. I have been on unemployment receiving checks since Jan 2010. I recently found a job which I adore very much. Been there 2 weeks today. The mgr took me into the office and said "We decided to let you go and go with another candidate who has more experience." Now, my unemployment from previous employer was appreoved and extended until Jan 2011. But what Im wondering is, can I still receive my benefits since I was only at this recent job for 2weeks? I believe I should but Im not sure. My g/f & I just found out were pregnant this past weekend after a previous m/c in Dec. 2009. Please help & answer only if you know the answer. I'll be calling tomorrow. Office is closed now & the UBC website FAQ doesnt say anything on this type of situation. Thank you.

Resolved Question: Does anyone know why the sig sauer mosquito no longer has lubrication hole on the slide?
I know the sig mosquito has a hole on the right side of the rail. The hole is used to lubricate the extractor.( this is even states on sig sauer website FAQ) they said add drop of oil to that hole every free hundred rounds. However on newly manufactured Mosquitos the hole no longer exists.( it's been filled in). So my question is why is that. Has sig sauer changed something internally Donita no longer needed? Are te newer mosquito without hole better or are the older with hole better.?? I will be purchasing one soon and need to know should o receive one with the hole or with out. Thanks in advance!!!

I think it may be too advanced for me, or maybe the directions are crap...Either way, I need your help lol. Resolved Question: Is priority mail from usps trackable?
It says it is not track able on the website but yet I got a tracking number. The tracking number doesn't say anything important and amazon said that the shipment left yesterday. Open Question: how to get starbucks to open near me?
ive just been on the starbucks website, went on "contact us" in hopes to write and email to the company asking them to open a starbucks in the village i live in. the have different sections for your email for example i thought my email would be in the "retail stores" section, so i clicked on this, but on the multiple choice part where you pick your question it doesnt say anything about asking to open a store, if you receive me. though i do know that starbucks has no problem with you contacting them for this reason as it is on the FAQ, please can someone tell me how i caqn write them and email enquiring about a store opening close me :)

Open Question: Downloaded and ran the xbox backwards compatibility update, doesnt work with the games it said it would though?
So i did what it said and now it runs my halo 2 game, but not any others, for example starwars battle front 2, call of duty finest hour, Lord of the Rings return of the king, Fable and one or two others. I checked the list of compatible games and they're every pretty much up there, i realise some of them might have been added recently, but the Lord of the rings game was on the original update when it was first put up, i might be wrong but i think it was from an FAQ i saw. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i think ive taken it as far as my mind will go on this one! Thanks! tried to delete the cache thing, no luck im afraid. its just odd because halo definately works.

Open Question: Newgrounds Flash Problem?
Newgrounds has been creating numerous problems for me in the past few days. I can't log on to the website at every. On the log on box, there is just some text that says, "Checking log in status..." It never changes to anything else. I also can't play any videos or games. To even further my anger, I can't even hear to audio. It's ridiculous. When I checked the FAQ section, the little TV said, "Flash Not Detected." This only happens on my MacBook, but it is still very aggravating. I've tried every of my browsers: Firefox, IE, Chrome, and Safari, but none of them work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Shockwave. I've also checked for better versions of JavaScript, but none of these fixes seem to work.
