All eyes were on history teacher Chris Hardwicke when he “revived” a student lying on his classroom’s floor at Valley High School. “He’s going to die or we think he’s going to die,” he said, before applying imaginary defibrillators to the student’s chest. “We hit him, boom. He bounces back up.”

2 local men presumedly die in ocean
Two Banning residents are presumed to have drowned after getting caught in a rip current last weekend in Huntington Beach. John Shua Lee, 24, and Shao Moua, 20, got caught, along with two others, in a rip current just before 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 28, according to officials.
